Have I mentioned this before? This is a poem by Rainer Maria Rilke that we chose as a reading for our wedding.
Do you know, I would quietly
slip from the loud circle,
when first I know the pale
stars above the oaks
are blooming.
Ways will I elect
that seldom any tread
in pale evening meadows—
and no dream but this:
You come too.
Yup, that still works.

Mrs. Bearce?
Yep, Mrs. Bearce (the widow of my AP English teacher) read that poem for us. She did a terrific job!
