Snowy software

After a couple weeks of lingering warm fall weather, the thermometer made a sharp drop today, to the point where we had a few snow flurries. This was 90% disappointing; I love winter, but I like it to wait until after Thanksgiving Day whenever possible. The 10% that wasn't disappointing came from the gorgeous graphic for "flurries" in my Dashboard weather widget:

This is the first snow since I have been running Dashboard. Pretty cool.

Don't ask me how it was snowing at 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

My understanding has always been that it can snow at higher temperatures, because that higher temperature is only existant at ground level. The altitude at which the snow originated could be much much colder than, say, 40 degrees.

I love the weather widget - isn't it beautitful?! I also like turning on the low's for each day (if you flip the widget over). The lows show up in a dimmer color just underneath those daily high's.

Another cool little thing I noticed, it the degree character's center pulses when the widget is updating. Man, it's those subtle things ..... :-D
