Poison's "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" made it to the Billboard Top 10 (#3, to be exact) in 1989 - that was 15 years ago.
The Breakfast Club and its classic hit song "Don't You Forget About Me" (by Simple Minds and not appearing on the soundtrack) was 1985 - that was no less than twenty years ago.

What makes me feel old is that people like you think that these things in your list are old.
I'm reading the Hardy Boys novels to my son, and I remember watching the Hardy Boys TV series with Parker Stevenson and Shawn Cassidy which aired from 1977-1979, (twenty-five years ago). I tried to find it on DVD for Jaron to watch, but no, it's not on DVD. Because it's JUST THAT OLD.
